Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's high-profile recordings. The singer gained further attention via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music more as a hobby than as a job. The singer began to write her own songs. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love of Bjork's style. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music in front of the public, but not so that she could gain fame but rather to let others know the importance of their work and the good they do for the world. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they impact the world. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. She claims that she enjoys composing music. For her, music is the best method to experience anything.
